ABOUT CANTERBURY HILLS

Canterbury Hills is a residential community located along Lancaster Pike (Route 48) southeast of Hockessin, Delaware.  The neighborhood is bordered by three neighborhoods, Westgate Farms, Winterbury, and Westminster.  The eastern portion of Canterbury Hills abuts the Hercules Research Center.  The community is located within the Red Clay School District.  Canterbury Hills is considered a suburb of Wilmington with a typical commute to downtown of approximately 10 minutes.  The neighborhood was incorporated in 1958.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS/COMMITTEES

The Board of Directors manages the affairs of the neighborhood.  The Board consists of 5 duly elected persons who are voted in by majority vote of Members at the Annual Meeting held on the first Tuesday of March.  The Board meets at least twice each year.  Committees may be established to help conduct neighborhood business, such as the Road Committee or Hospitality Committee.  Anyone interested in volunteering to become a Director or member of a Committee should contact the President.
